Confirmation

HERE WE STAND! A good theme, but where is it that we stand? Confirmation takes us on a journey to answer that question. What do we believe? What is our faith? Where do we find God in our lives? What does it mean to be a Christian, a Lutheran?

Confirmation classes meet on Wednesdays. There will be two classes each Wednesday: the first at Waverly from 3:45-5:00 and then Trinity from 5:30-6:45.  Interim Pastor Gerry Giese will be teaching the curriculum.  The students will also be required to attend a confirmation Sunday school class which will be directly related to the weekly class program.  Each student will attend Sunday school at their respective churches.  And will be asked to acolyte at their respective churches and serve in other way as service projects.  The mentoring program will also be continued.  They also will be attending Confirmation Camp at Green Lake Bible Camp in Spicer, MN in the summer.
